In his love for mankind, the Lord has exalted him above all creatures by creating him in his image and likeness, but more so by raising him up in Christ to share divine life forever. Among all human creatures, it is our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary, whom "all generations will call blessed" (St. Luke). Mary has been given the highest place among all of creation, and it is she, a woman, who ranks highest in the most important hierarchy: the hierarchy of holiness. The gift of God in her glorious Assumption into heaven is the fulfillment of his grace in her. She goes before us to intercede with her Son that we may join her in praising Him, the Father and the Holy Spirit forever in heaven. The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin is a singular participation in her Son's Resurrection and an anticipation of the resurrection of other Christians: In giving birth you kept your virginity; in your Dormition you did not leave the world, O Mother of God, but were joined to the source of Life. You conceived the living God and, by your prayers, will deliver our souls from death. (Byzantine Liturgy, Troparion, Feast of the Dormition, August 15th.) (CCC 966) By her complete adherence to the Father's will, to his Son's redemptive work, and to every prompting of the Holy Spirit, the Virgin Mary is the Church's model of faith and charity. (CCC 967) Her role in relation to the Church and to all humanity goes still further. A Warning From Bud

In September 2005 I received a warning from Bud Millington, saying the Lord had told him he had one year to stock up enough food and water and supplies to last ninety days. I did not pass the warning on to my readers at that time, preferring to wait on the side of caution for the warning to be confirmed. I know Bud, and his word is usually right on. I also knew that such a word as this would be confirmed sooner or later.
Sure enough, the confirmation came on 6-6-06. That morning, as he was waking from a prophetic dream the Lord spoke to him audibly and said, "You now have ninety days to prepare for ninety days without food, water, electricity, or any way to get to the store." Yep, the confirmation came on 6-6-06 and whether or not it tied in with that date is anyone's guess. We can huff it off as coincidence or we can spook out, but in any case, there it is.
I immediately forwarded the warning on to fellow ministers and other prophets and the response was a resounding, "This is real and this is serious." It was at that point I decided to forward the warning on to you, dear readers, and urge you to receive it with much prayer and your own preparation.
It is not known what the crisis will be. Though we have asked the Lord to show us, He has been silent as to the nature of the crisis. Sometimes the Lord shows us a spark before He shows us the fire. And He expects us to take the spark by faith and respond by faith. Then, as we walk in the faith of that one word, He gives additional word to prepare us further. We will walk in that word, prepare as best we can, and put all our trust in Him. Apparently He wants to protect us or He would not have warned us. I for one am thankful for the word of warning.
I do not think it will be a nuclear attack because of the "no way to get to the store" phrase, but I could be wrong. It sounds more like an electromagnetic pulse attack that can send us back into the 18th century with no electricity for months or even years. God says "ninety days" to the crisis, which brings us to September 4, 2006, and then ninety days after that which will take us into the first week in December. Cold months without heat, and some parts of the country will suffer more than others. Which brings me to another question: will this be nationwide or will it be limited to the eastern seaboard states?
I ask this for two reasons: (1) Three years ago I saw in the vision a huge tidal wave that put Baltimore under water. There was no timeline given for this event. (2) Just before the warning, Bud was sleeping and dreaming of being in Vermont, at his parent's old homestead, when he looked up and saw a huge tidal wave overtaking the area. He woke up with a start - frightened – then, he says, he lay back down and went back to sleep. Again, he had the same dream and this time, when he wakened, was when he heard the audible voice, "as clear as if someone were in the room speaking with me."
I find it interesting that his dream and my vision were both placed in the northeast, the New England states, and yet...get this...both Bud and I have moved from the northeast, Bud moving to the northeastern panhandle of West Virginia years ago, and I moving to western Virginia a year ago, both of us moving by the direction of the Holy Spirit. Interesting as well, about fifteen years ago, I dreamed I was in my grandmother's house in southern West Virginia, standing barefoot at a second floor bedroom window that overlooked a tall ridge about 500 yards away. I was just standing there looking out the window when I suddenly saw a huge wall of water cresting over that ridge, heading for the house. I quickly ran down the stairs to the front door when I suddenly realized I could not outrun a tidal wave. I woke up in a cold sweat.
It was later that I pulled out all the maps and began calculating the route an ocean tsunami would take from the shores of Virginia, across the state to where my grandmother lived, and it would indeed come over that ridge. Of course, Bud and I agree that such a wall of water would have to cross the Blue Ridge Mountains to get this far inland, but the damage to infrastructures such as power plants would be long-lasting and far-reaching. I never shared that dream until recently, after I had the vision of the Baltimore surge. In the 1970s I heard whisperings to “get 500 miles inland.” Like most of us who are growing in the things of the Spirit, and cautious by nature, (not easy to pull up stakes without a “real” reason), I shrugged it off. Now this...
I do not think these are coincidences for there is one more peg placed in this pegboard...I called my son in Baltimore to warn him of the ninety days he had to stock up on supplies when he said to me, "Mom, we are going to see a 20-foot tidal wave in Baltimore this year and when it hits, my house will be gone." (He lives on the water).I did not ask him how he knew about this, I simply replied, "That was the other thing I wanted to talk with you about." He was very sure about it, and I was stunned. Could it be a tsunami that will strike the east coast instead of a terrorist attack? God has not yet said but my son may have supplied the answer we have been asking for.
Our own government’s intelligence sources are warning of an eminent terrorist attack on U.S. soil, perhaps many simultaneous attacks across the country. This alone would affect the electricity, the free flow of supplies across the country and the shortages of food and water. A tsunami on the other hand, whether on the eastern coastlands or on the western coastlands, would affect only half of the country. Since the visions concerned the eastern coastal areas, and since Bud was warned to stock up and prepare for ninety days of cabin fever, it will most likely be the east coast.
Suppose it is a terrorist attack - an EMP that destroys all electricity. When the food runs out and water is hard to come by, the riots, the plundering, the mayhem and the panic will be horrific, only adding to the crisis such elements that we cannot even imagine. We have never seen such a widespread crisis such as this in this country before, unless - and it is possible - that Katrina and the New Orleans catastrophy was a sample warning of what this country as a whole or in part could be called on to endure in the months ahead.
It is not my intention to frighten you. It is my intention to share these things with you and to give you a chance to weigh it in prayer, in spirit, and prepare accordingly. If, by God's Grace it is then delayed, we have lost nothing. One can always use the food and supplies they have prepared for.
In the weeks to come I will share with you some ways to prepare. Having lived through the depression of the thirties and forties and then a world war in which everything needful was rationed, or unavailable, we learned to make do with what we had, and to be thankful for that. There are tips we all need to share with each other so if you have tips you want to pass on to others, send them to me via e-mail and I will post them.
To name just a few: regarding water, on September 2-3 clean and fill your bathtubs and washing machines. Don't forget your hot water tank is full as well. This in addition to the bottled water you will have. I have been filling empty laundry detergent and Clorox bottles with water for flushing for several months now - since last September - and have perhaps a dozen on hand but not nearly enough. Remember you will have to pour water into your toilet to flush it, and not every time you use it - so be cautious regarding overuse of paper. And please, stock up on toilet paper by bulk. Baby wipes are great for sponge bathing and for personal hygiene. They have lotion in them, and using baby wipes instead of washcloths will conserve water and cut down the laundry needs. Remember you will be doing laundry by hand and hanging it indoors...
For you ladies, panty liners will be a blessing that will allow you to wear the same panties for several days by just changing the liner every day and this will also cut down on laundry and will conserve water. Use paper goods for eating will conserve water as well. You will need to wash pots, etc., and do cleanups, but can use very little water for this and do as much recycling of that water as possible (flushing etc.).
Above all, develop a steady attitude of thanksgiving and praise. Surround and fill your home with praise and look to the Father for direction and the Holy Spirit for survival guidance. Now is the time to start buying those non-perishables, paper goods, sterno fuel (for cooking) and plenty of trash bags for there will be no trash pickup and you will have more trash with the paper goods, etc.
We can cook on the grill the first week, after that, when most people have exhausted the supplies from their freezers, and there are no open stores, and no gas pumps operating, it will be too dangerous to cook outdoors. While we will share with our neighbors who will be hungry (stock extra for this) we will not want to tempt the hooligans who will be on the rampage to plunder and destroy by sending out the smell of food that can carry a mile away.
Forgive me if I have sounded this alarm in a doom and gloom fashion. I don't know any other way to share it except to just put it out there. Whatever the crisis will be, it is the duty of the watchman on the wall to sound the alarm and Bud has sounded the alarm and I am running with it as well. I will be waiting for those tips for sharing next week so get them to me as soon as you can.
