“Dear children! Today the Lord permitted me to tell you again that you live in a time of grace. You are not conscious, little children, that God is giving you a great opportunity to convert and to live in peace and love. You are so blind and attached to earthly things and think of earthly life. God sent me to lead you toward eternal life. I, little children, am not tired, although I see that your hearts are heavy and tired for everything that is a grace and a gift. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

Saint Anthony Mary Claret

Today is the feast day of Saint Anthony Mary Claret. Let us ask God through the intercession of St. Anthony Mary Claret for a FREE Cuba and to the end the apartheid system in Cuba. Why this saint? He spent time in Cuba and just a little backgound:

"Then he was assigned as archbishop of Cuba. Not having had an archbishop for fourteen years, the island was in need of renewal. Anthony reorganized the seminary training, preached in all the churches, heard confessions, and guided people to Christ. He worked for updated farm methods and credit unions. He wanted the people to own their own farms, knowing that this would improve family life. He made enemies by teaching black slaves. Fifteen times people tried to assassinate him. Once a man stabbed him and was given a death sentence, but Anthony had this changed to a prison sentence. "


Who better to ask for help? Remember my freedom loving brethren: "Whatever you ask in my name I will do, so as to to glorify the Father and the Son. anything you ask in my name I will do." (John 14:13-14)

I know many will say that for over 47 years we have been asking and praying, and nothing?Let's not give up and collectively ask and pray today, since we have a saint who lived in Cuba, and you know he has a special place in his heart for Cuba.

Blessings in having a large family

We have a big family and consequently many comments follow! "Oh, you must be Catholic" in a derogatory way. "No way are you having any more!" and then men always whisper to me: "When are you getting a vasectomy!" "What's wrong with you, how can you afford it?"

My simple response: "I am blessed." Yes, it's tough financially, emotionally, time wise, and in some cases your career might suffer. Our kids are so special, so no matter the career and the money, nothing will take place of our kids!

Prayer for daily neglects

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with all its love, all its sufferings and all its merits. First --- To expiate all the sins I have committed this day and during all my life. Gloria Patri. Second --- To purify the good I have done poorly this day and during all my life. Gloria Patri. Third --- To supply for the good I ought to have done, and that I have neglected this day and all my life. Gloria Patri.
